🌙🦇 Labradorite Bat Carvings

These beautifully carved Labradorite bats bring a perfect mix of mystical energy and playful character. Each one has its own flash — from golden fire to electric blue — catching the light just like a pair of wings sweeping through the night. A brilliant little guardian for lovers of shadow work, intuition, and all things magical.

Bat A — Golden Flash

This bat shows strong golden labradorescence, especially across both wings, giving it a warm, ancient, almost candlelit glow. Its carving is smooth and slightly chunky, with a lovely symmetrical spread of the flash. A piece that feels grounding, steady, and protective — a perfect talisman for confidence in times of change.

Bat B — Blue Flash

A gorgeous blue-and-teal flash, especially along the upper wing arches and centre body. This bat has a cool, mystical presence — ideal for intuition, dreamwork, and tapping into deeper layers of awareness. It feels like a little nocturnal guide for anyone walking a spiritual or self-discovery path.

🪨 How Labradorite Forms

Labradorite is a feldspar mineral formed deep in the Earth’s crust. As it cools, thin layers of different feldspar minerals stack and interlock. When light hits these layers, it scatters and reflects, creating the famous labradorescence — flashes of blue, green, gold, orange, and sometimes even pink or violet.
This optical effect is completely natural, caused by the internal structure of the crystal rather than surface colour.
