Despite its name, Moss Agate doesn't actually contain moss. It's a variety of chalcedony whose green, branching and moss-like patterns are created by mineral inclusions. Every piece develops completely differently, which is why Moss Agate can look like tiny forests, plants or landscapes trapped inside the stone.
Metaphysically, Moss Agate is traditionally associated with growth, abundance, grounding and a connection with nature.
