This palm stone is like carrying a little pocket forest with you. Swirls of green mossy inclusions run through the stone, almost like tiny landscapes captured in crystal — complete with dreamy, cloud-like quartz layers and little bursts of texture that look like tree branches frozen in time.
How it formed in nature: Moss Agate isn’t actually moss at all! The green, branch-like patterns are inclusions of minerals like chlorite or hornblende that grew inside clear or milky chalcedony over thousands (even millions) of years. As silica-rich water flowed through cracks in rock, it slowly crystallised, trapping these earthy, moss-like patterns forever inside. The result? A stone that looks like Mother Nature painted miniature forests inside quartz.
